چکیده

To identify sound source locations by using Near-field Acoustical Holography (NAH), a large number of microphone measurements is generally required in order to cover the region and ensure sufficiently high spatial sampling rate: it may require hundreds microphones. As result, such are costly, fact which has limited industrial application NAH locations. However, recently, been shown possible concentrated sources with measurement based on Compressive Sensing theory. In present work, radiation from front face diesel engine was measured one set thirty-five-channel combo-array placed engine. The significant noise were then identified two algorithms: i.e., l1-norm minimization hybrid approach combined Wideband (WBH) minimization. It found that both algorithms can successfully localize visualize major over broad range frequencies, even though relatively small Finally, comments made field reconstruction differences between algorithms.

Compressive Sensing Meets Noise Radar

In this chapter, we discuss how noise radar systems are suitable for realizing practically the promises of compressive sensing in radar imaging, in general, and in urban-sensing applications, in particular. Noise radar refers to radio frequency imaging systems that employ transmit signals that are generated to resemble random noise waveforms. Noise radar has recently been successfully applied t...

Beamforming using compressive sensing.

Compressive sensing (CS) is compared with conventional beamforming using horizontal beamforming of at-sea, towed-array data. They are compared qualitatively using bearing time records and quantitatively using signal-to-interference ratio. Qualitatively, CS exhibits lower levels of background interference than conventional beamforming. Furthermore, bearing time records show increasing, but toler...

Reconstruction Algorithms in Compressive Sensing: An Overview

The theory Compressive Sensing (CS) has provided a new acquisition strategy and recovery with good in the image processing area. This theory guarantees to recover a signal with high probability from a reduced sampling rate below the Nyquist-Shannon limit. The problem of recovering the original signal from the samples consists in solving an optimization problem. This article presents an overview...

Narayan Time - Frequency Analysis of Diesel Engine Noise

Combustion is the main type of noise radiated from diesel engines. Several methods have been devised to reduce the noise levels. Fourier tranformation methods along with block attenuation curves have been used to study the correlation between cylinder pressure and noise radiated from engines. In this work wavelet method has been used to study noisee mitted from a dual injection diesel engine. T...
